Just months later, Qilin Laser has completed a new round of process upgrades – a full-dimensional refinement spanning human-machine interaction, welding quality, and scenario adaptability – all aimed at delivering a truly versatile welding system that understands materials, resists interference, and covers every application in the workshop.

The Qilin Gen-2 K4 now features an upgraded energy-storage welding process package, eliminating the long-standing hassle of tuning parameters for stiffener welding.Operators simply input the material type, thickness, and welding mode, and the system automatically matches the optimal parameters. With precision heat control, the stiffener welding mode delivers a smooth, mark-free back surface that requires no additional grinding or polishing, while ensuring sufficient fusion depth that passes tensile strength tests. The result is a perfect balance of aesthetics and strength, significantly reducing rework rates.

This upgrade also brings an enhanced BWS20 welding torch, with a key focus on electromagnetic interference (EMI) resistance. Traditional laser torches are often susceptible to pulse interference caused by arc welding startup in the workshop, leading to unstable beam output and uneven welds. The upgraded torch delivers vastly improved anti-interference performance – even with TIG welding equipment running nearby, signal stability and power output remain unaffected. Customers can now freely choose between traditional welding or laser welding based on their needs, with no restrictions on production layout.
